Instrument Applications
Human information processing largely relies on vision, and the study of eye movement is the most effective means of visual information processing research. Therefore, eye tracking systems have become effective tools for experimental research in education, psychology, linguistics, artificial intelligence, and other fields. The main function of an eye tracking system is to analyze the position and duration of the gaze area, pupil movement, and pupil diameter of the test subject, in order to reflect their attention and cognitive processes towards objects. The system also includes experimental design software, which allows experimenters to design various visual and auditory stimuli at multiple levels through user-friendly visual user pages.
